Do all blenders give problems when crushing ice? I want to buy a really good blender that will chop up ice good. What brands can I buy?

They really weren’t intended to to that They just sort of crack up the ice. I had a Champion juicer that made fine ice like for snow cones.

I have a Black & Decker ProBlend that is fantastic and crushing ice.

We have a sunbeam blender, it was about 90 bucks. (I’m Australian) and thats been great for crushing ice. Otherwise you can get one of those snow cone making machines for about 38 bucks that works well, they make great daquaris and margaritas!

osterizer, mine is great it blends ice and hard candies aswell, but it’s abit noisy

I prefer Oster brand blenders.
My parents have had one forever. I’ve had two of them. Both of them I picked up used. The first one only had a few speeds and was already worn out. I believe it was a cheap model. The model I have now is a 10 speed. It has worked wonderfully and I picked it up for very little $ at a yard sale years ago.

getone w/ a glass jar…. Kitchen Aid is a great brand and I use it to make smoothies and mudslides w/ ice all the time.
