I want to buy a blender that does everything so I was looking around and found two but very different prices and they say they do the same thing. So let me know if you own one of these and If you like it or not? Montell Williams Health Master or Blendtec.

I have a vitamix which is by far the best as far as I know. Karen, you are correct that a regular blender will work. They reason people buy the higher horsepower blenders like the vitamix I have is because when you are going raw there is a texture issue, especially with green smoothies. Things like chard tend to stay in stringy chunks which I find hard to get down. If it is really smooth it is easier to get the good stuff in. I hope that clarifies. For regular fruit smoothies etc Im sure a standard blender will do the job.

Don’t waste your money on those expensive machines. A regular blender works just fine. I use one for my smoothies and other blending every day.
