Which blender do you think is better? I used 4.5 cups of ice cubes in each blender container. The OMNI V 3 hp blender made beautiful snow using the pulse button feature and high/low buttons together with the tamper stick – stirring. The Vitamix Prep 3 could make snow, but it did not do it very well because the stirring with the plastic tamper did not work as easy in the vitamix jar as with the wooden dowel in the OMNI jar. And the Prep 3 does not have a pulse button. The ice compacted a little too much. And the end there was packed snow into an ice clump and on top un-blended ice cubes. If you played around with it longer, you surly could blend ice cubes into snow with the prep 3 too. And blending ice cubes with water / liquid in it, into a juice, is not a problem with any of these blenders.
