That makes no sense how is anyone going to know what you are talking about if everyone is calling everything what it is to them? Like when mess up and tell someone who does not know me I want a pop it takes them a second to understand what I mean if they know at all what I mean now if I told them the name of the item I wanted there would have been no misunderstanding at all. —>

<— I'm just saying that it is frustrating enough in the world what with all the different languages floating about with out people misleading you purposely just to sell something or whatever they are trying to do I looked up 'ice cream' not 'Sorbet' because thats what it is really. Not that there isn't anything tasty about Sorbet. well I'll shut up now.

So you’re concerned about being misled. I really don’t think that’s what’s happening here. It’s an imaginative way to get the point across, that if you want something like ice cream, but good for you, you can have it this way. Why does that bother you?

<—Seems rather petty to take offense to this. Get upset about the dangerous misleading that's going on with most processed packaged food advertising, making it sound healthy when it isn't even close! Put your energy into something like that instead.

I AM THE ICE CREAM KING…and this is not ice cream.
The best ice cream is the one that will soon kill me because I eat 2 litres a night. I’m overweight and get angina but it’s worth it.
This shit is frozen bannana NOT ICE CREAM
Think about it…ice CREAM….CREAM damn it.

Hi!
I am a mother of three; the oldest being 21 and for 6 years we’ve had frozen bananas turned into ice cream! One thing we have noticed is that the longer you process the bananas in the food processor, the creamier it gets. It also turnes white and the flavor reminds of vanilla. It’s so gourgeous and perfect for food allergies like milk, eggs, preservaties and stuff. So, anyone out there thinking it is not ice cream;try it again and enjoy! PS)try flavor it with raw carob or cacao…mmm

Hope that thought consoles you when you see yourself in a swimming costume or die young from a heart attack…You have a sugar addiction which is as strong, if not stronger than tabacco addiction. It takes about 1-2 months to get over it. It causes intense sugar cravings so obviously if you are not getting your hit you wont be able to enjoy this delicious ice-cream..hope you have the will-power to get over your problem soon!

Who’d buy one of those massive machines? Just buy a good juicer and/or a good blender and combine techniques.

It looks like there is nothing else in here except for frozen bananas. Did I get it right, and is there really an ice-cream out of pure banana?

You can just use a blender instead, works the exact same. Yeah it is pretty much just banana but adding vanilla, and some semi-sweet white chocolate chips, and some walnuts makes it really good!

Everyones thinking it but you said it.

The Green Star [older models like mine were called Green Life] juicer is actually an awesome machine. Sure, you can use a Cuisinart or K-Tec/VitaMix blender to make ice cream out of frozen bananas, but the Green Star/Life really shines when grinding up soaked/sprouted seeds or almonds to make patés with, and the machine does not cause the temperature of the ground seeds/nuts to rise. Hence all your enzymes are intact.

so to answer my original question, sad lunatics.

The blender will give you a shake consistency.

A couple of frozen bananas, a handful of roasted peanuts, a tbs. of coconut milk, and a tsp. of honey. Enjoy!

What kind of food processor is that?
